As Director of Corporate Strategy & Initiatives, you will be pivotal in AMTB’s journey and future growth.

Reporting directly to the President and CEO, the Director of Corporate Strategy & Initiatives will play a key role driving the company's strategic vision and operational efficiencies. In this role, the individual will collaborate closely with executive leadership, facilitating strategic planning, process optimization, project management, and stakeholder engagement. As the conduit between the CEO and ArcelorMittal globally, the Director will engage at the highest levels, providing monthly and quarterly insights and updates on the business and facilitating execution with the leadership team in areas of sustainability, customer, strategy, forecasts amongst others.

Bring to life key initiatives, many from the ground up or at early stages, enable and drive the future direction and align with the exceptional entrepreneurial and innovative culture of AMTB.

To be successful in this, you will possess the following:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • Previous experience in a “Chief of Staff” role or similar strategic partnership function to the executive team.
  • Manufacturing industry experience required, automotive exposure a preference.
  • Solid financial analysis, business modeling and fp&a capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a curious mindset.
  • Executive presence – possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Discretion and ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Track record of driving results.
This role can be based in either Concord, ON or Detroit, MI.
