Interim CFO

Our client is a fast-growing, family-owned and operated business in the retail health care sector.  They are passionately innovating in this rapidly-changing industry, and looking for a Finance Leader to partner with them by building an effective finance and administrative function to meet their future needs.

As CFO, you will provide hands-on leadership to a small team to improve all aspects of current operations.   You will envision and build a scalable Finance function to support growth in all aspects of the business.   This will include, but not be limited to, collection processes; transaction accounting; KPI development, management reporting; budgeting and planning, capital planning, etc. The organization is developing its infrastructure to scale; this finance leadership role will be a key contributor to that vision.

You also partner closely with the owners as they develop and execute their strategy for rapid growth.  This will include investment and acquisition analysis and developing potential investor relationships.

In order to be considered for this position, you will possess the following:
 
  • A CPA designation, or very strong comparable experience
  • Proven experience in process analysis and systems upgrades and improvement
  • Experience within a retail or distribution environment would be very valuable
  • Experience in a family-owned business would be very valuable
  • Experience with lenders and raising debt financing would be valuable
  • A can-do positive attitude and focus on solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills, across and up-and-down the organization
