About you
Are you an experienced professional with knowledge or experience in investment management or wealth management, and are interested in transitioning to a global private bank and asset manager? Are you interested in
playing a meaningful role in managing the financial affairs of Cidel’s Ultra-High Net Worth (UHNW) clients? If so, please read on, this is an exciting career opportunity.

Cidel, located in downtown Toronto, is looking to hire an experienced professional into their firm. You will be responsible for assisting with the planning and managing of unique projects for ultra-high net worth individuals and families. Along with Cidel’s talented team, you will assist in providing integrated financial services advice to these clients including asset management, trust & estate planning and liquidity-based lending. Cidel is renowned for its exceptional holistic service, and what sets them apart is their adeptness in seamlessly integrating and executing investment management alongside wealth planning solutions.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • Undergraduate university degree in a relevant field. CIM or similar is considered an asset.
  • 6+ years relevant experience (client relationship management or support or sales support in financial services)
  • Keen interest in building a long-term career in wealth management/family office, particularly focused on serving UHNW individuals.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills. Second languages are of interest.
  • A natural interest and passion for investing and financial planning with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and high attention to detail.
Preferred:
  • Knowledge and experience in the areas of investment management, financial planning, estate planning and tax (personal, trust, and corporate) especially tailored to the needs of UHNW clients. 
  • Prior experience working with High-Net-Worth clients and managing their investment portfolios is considered a significant asset for the role.
