We are looking for an experienced Controller to join a finance team in state of change and progression. If you enjoy working for successful businesses and want the opportunity to lead people, process and system change management initiatives while reporting up to the SVP Finance (CFO), this role would be an exciting step in your career. As a key member of the finance team, you will add value through financial and management reporting acumen, develop and manage the budgeting/planning process; coordinate financial policies while ensuring compliance; and assist with acquisitions and integrations as they arise.

Ways in which you can add value and directly contribute are:
  • Leading the company’s accounting function and ensure the foundation is set for growth
  • Partnering with the business and building strong relationships with senior management and branch managers
  • Promoting continuous improvement by streamlining and building efficiencies within the accounting and finance function
  • Spearheading effective financial analysis to help ensure the business achieves targets relative to growth and profitability
  • Developing, coaching and sustaining a highly engaged team through strong leadership
     
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • CPA designation (CA, CGA, CMA)
  • 10 - 15 years relevant, progressive experience, 5+ years in a management role leading a team
  • Experience in setting budgets, measuring against plan and following up on business goals
  • Experience implementing financial systems and processes, including forecasting and KPIs
  • An attitude for change management and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Demonstrated ability as a collaborative leader, mentoring, engaging, and developing a high performing team
  • High integrity and a demonstrated commitment to ethical standards in a diverse workplace
