Interim CFO

Our client, a well-known Private Equity firm, is acquiring a new company into their portfolio.  They are in need of an Interim CFO to support the early stages of on-boarding and integration. We are looking to speak with experienced CFOs who will immediately support the integration of two legal entities, ideally having previously worked in an organization undergoing a transformation such as post-acquisition/merger integration or strategy transformation.

This is an exciting interim engagement as you will partner with the private equity firm and bring seasoned expertise in finance leadership to bear whilst parachuting into an organization going through change which will provide an opportunity to make a considerable and immediate impact.

The focus for the next 3 months will be on structuring and enhancing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages, bringing them to a new standard. The interim CFO will establish the FP&A process, work with the senior leadership team to understand their needs and objectives and manage banking relationships. They will lead initiatives to optimize and digitize other processes in finance to support the senior leadership team and enhance decision making capabilities. Concurrently they will assess the current state relating to systems and software tools. These process improvements and analysis of the current environment will significantly improve the infrastructure of the organization, setting them up to scale over the coming years. The interim CFO will also lead and coach the accounting team through the acquisition integration period ensuring all team members receive the support needed during this time of change.
