Reporting to the Board, as an ideal candidate, you should have a proven track record of developing and sustaining a high performing, collaborative culture focused on creating value for customers and shareholders through strategic leadership. You are proactive and actively identifying opportunities for business development and providing strategic input. You bring a strong business acumen and the ability to develop and articulate your pedigree about trends, practices, and policies affecting the industry.
To lead this organization with its new mandate you should have a good grasp of effective strategies and tactics that work in the market place. Your ability to embrace ambiguity and uncertainty, and cope with change will bode well to capitalize on opportunities that drive organizational growth.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • A post-secondary degree in business or a related discipline
  • 10+years’of executive leadership experience in a public company.
  • A demonstrated track record in the commercialization or growth of emerging or advanced technologies; this could include any kind of Clean technology serving an industry or cross-sector
  • Validated successes of “building” out companies
  • An accomplished performance history of managing large budgets and leading fund raising is required
  • An ability to develop and nurture strong relationships with capital markets, Board members and other stakeholders are a must.
  • Experience and expertise in leading a successful exit (sale) of a business (considered an asset to have).
  • A proven history of being hands-on in the business and being able to work closely with operations and sales
