Our client is one of Toronto’s fastest growing youth charities who are looking to hire a Fundraising & Communications Manager into their organisation.  Based in Downtown Toronto, you will be reporting into the Executive Director and responsible for heading up fundraising, communications, organisational leadership and strategy as well as managing a small team.  You will provide vision and strategic leadership and take accountability for strategies that identify, cultivate and gain or enhance interest and involvement of prospective funders or business and community partnerships.  Alongside this you will develop, implement and evaluate on-brand marketing and communications for all stakeholders while supervising and coaching direct reports and providing leadership support to the entire team.
 
In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
 
  • Undergrad degree or diploma in a business-related discipline.
  • Experience in a Fundraising & Marketing Communications role within the Charity or Not For Profit sector.
  • Experience in the Arts and/or running fundraising and donor stewardship events and campaigns will be considered an asset.
  • Successful track record in fundraising and management, achieving financial targets, managing a budget and continuously searching for funding prospects and generating funding.
  • Working with multiple stakeholders, being an accountable team player who is results orientated and driven to improve lives in the community is key.
  • Strong Leader that can lead, coach and mentor, give feedback and create a great working team environment.
  • Ambition, insight, diligence, creativity, relationship builder, collaboration, trustworthy, flexible and appreciating values are all key attributes to succeed.
