National Account Manager - CPG Food

Our client is an exciting, growing CPG Food Organisation who is looking to hire a National Account Manager into their expanding sales team to help drive new business through retailers and within their broker network.  Based in GTA West, you will work closely with the National Sales Manager and play an integral role in the development and execution of strategies to ensure expansion and growth of existing accounts both regionally and nationally.  You will be instrumental in delivering sustainable profit and volume growth while delivering against the needs of the customer.  Presenting and owning the development of sales plans and targeted objectives as well as establishing market opportunities through market intelligence is critical for success in this role.

In order to be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
 
  • Experience in a similar role within CPG ideally food and beverage
  • Experience working with retailers including Loblaw, Metro, Walmart and Costco as well as the broker channel
  • Undergrad degree or diploma in Business, Marketing or any other relevant field
  • Experience in a fast-paced and innovative environment and be able to work multiple priorities and complete complex projects whilst providing high attention to detail
  • Being a skilled negotiator, motivated leader and maintaining excellent business relationships is key for this role
