The Chief Financial Officer is a key leader working alongside the principles, providing operations finance leadership and business guidance in growing the organization and achieving the objectives of the organization. The CFO will ensure current finance and accounting needs are met as well as scaling the infrastructure for future growth. Responsibilities include leading the financial and management reporting processes to provide quality, decision support data to the executive and leadership teams as well as implementing policies, procedures and internal controls. Manage and coach the finance team, provide oversight to the overall accounting infrastructure of the group of companies, create a culture of continuous improvement and implementation of new processes and systems. Lead the budgeting and forecasting processes, manage critical cash flow needs and provide oversight to legal and external banking and audit requirements. This is a cross-functional leadership responsibility including HR, IT and Administration.

To be considered for this role, you will possess the following:
  • CPA Designation with 10+ years' experience in an accounting leadership role, with a successful progressive career.
  • Construction or Real Estate Development/Property Management industry experience required.
  • Expertise in evaluating, recommending and implementing financial best practices and policies and procedures
  • Financial Planning & Analysis expertise, leading and maintaining solid budgeting processes, including financial modeling, cash flow modeling and forecasting.
  • An effective communicator, with strong verbal and written skills, strong organizational and decision-making skills.
  • Solid technology skillsets including proficiency with GL systems and MS- Office.
  • Mature and proactive with evidence of having worked as a true business partner to the leadership team.
