We are currently hiring a Talent Manager to support an aggressive growth plan at the firm. 
Our Talent Manager will work with the firm's leaders to refine and implement our people strategy, supporting the growth and success of every member of our team, and enhance a culture of respect, professionalism and excellence. This person will review the existing HR processes and systems, and work with firm management to create improvements which enable StrategyCorp and our clients to fully leverage the talents of our entire team.
The Talent Manager will support the growth of the organization through the entire staff lifecycle including recruitment and onboarding, staffing deployment, learning processes, and performance management. In addition, the role will administer the various HR services such as benefits and other general HR functions.
Specific Responsibilities:
Recruitment and on-boarding: This role will implement the recruitment plan including candidate sourcing, preliminary screening (including interviewing), managing the Offer process, and welcoming new staff to SCI through our on-boarding process.
Staffing deployment: The Talent Manager will play a key role in staff deployment on projects to drive high utilization across the firm and accelerated development through targeted project experience.
Learning: The successful candidate will support the on-going development of individual consultants through developing and executing learning and development programs, including contributing to the staff deployment process. You will also support the creation of specific training modules and the population of our knowledge database.
Performance Management: The Talent Manager will work with our internal Talent Development Committee to support all aspects of professional growth through regular real-time feedback, structured quarterly and annual reviews, and performance improvement planning.  You will help to ensure high value mentoring from the members of the Talent Development Committee.

Position Responsibilities
  • Work to coach project managers and mentors to provide outstanding practices in the areas of employee relations, recruitment and performance/talent management.
  • Partner with and support the team on all employee development efforts including the curriculum and development program for building leaders at all levels.
  • Champion an engaged and positive culture through effective people strategies.
  • Provide guidance and counsel to managers and employees across the organization on matters related to performance management or other items as needed.
  • Provide interpretation and guidance on policies, procedures and best practices to employees across the organization.
  • Identify emerging company needs that are solved through organization design, development and recruiting strategies.
  • Support all recruiting efforts including in-house, hands-on recruiting strategies
  • Oversee the annual compensation review process.
Education, Skills and Experience Required:
  • 7+ years of experience leading talent initiatives in a professional services environment
  • Demonstrated ability to meet strategic objectives for HR and the organization.
  • Experience with full-cycle talent management programs including recruiting, onboarding, employee relations and outplacement best practices.
  • Post-secondary degree with subsequent studies in HR management, e.g. CHRP/CHRL designation an asset.
  • Knowledge of the ESA and relevant case law.
  • Demonstrated project management skills and the ability to lead multiple initiatives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively present results to senior management as required.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally at all levels of the company.
