Your responsibilities will include leading a major talent acquisition initiative, the development of unified policies and procedures and employee support to ensure that the business delivers on its promise of operational excellence.

To be considered for this role you will possess the following qualifications:
 
  • Post-secondary diploma/degree in human resources/business
  • CPHR designation an asset
  • Manager level Human Resource professional with 5+ years progressive experience in HR and payroll
  • Previous experience working in a unionized environment an asset
  • Comfortable with both hands-on tactical tasks as well as strategy execution
  • Strong working knowledge of HR theories, labour law, practices and compliance
  • Proficient with MS Office, Excel, presentation software
  • Proven experience delivering on HR related continuous improvement initiatives
